Seasonal Laser Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

This is a Seasonal position and under the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act will receive 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked.
Position: Seasonal Laser Operator
Shift: 3rd Shift (11PM to 7:30 AM)
Expected Duration: 3 to 6 months
Essential Functions
Required but not limited to:
Use of fork lift to: load, unload and adjusts placement in the machine (Remmert and Tekmag) of material and work pieces to be processed.
Assures pieces and material received for processing and removed after processing are tagged with correct count and identification number, without multiple tags.
Monitors machine and takes corrective action as needed.
Meets or exceeds production rates and quality standards
Maintains work area.
Position Prerequisite:
Must meet the following requirements:
· Complies with all rules and regulations of Agri-Fab, Inc. and actively contributes to workplace safety.
· Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner in all dealings with co-workers and management.
· Actively participates in training; stays current and in compliance with required annual safety training.
· Supports manufacturing improvement programs and initiatives. Offers and helps implement improvement suggestions.
· Maintains a clean, orderly and safe working environment; wears and utilizes all PPE required for each job.
· Follows standard work and work instructions.
· Displays a high degree of attention to detail.
· Displays appropriate sense of urgency in communicating concerns (safety, quality, etc.).
· Cross-trains in order to perform all tasks in job rotation.
· Works overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required.
· Possess a valid driver's license.
Work Environment
Subject to hot temperatures.
May be subject to loud working environment.
Skin may be exposed to oils and/or coolant.
