If you are an Administrative Assistant looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Elyria, OH location, you will perform administrative functions for VP-Finance and other Finance department personnel.
AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, FINANCE, YOU WILL:
General administrative functions i.e. computer skills, typing of correspondence/reports, shorthand as necessary, telephone communications, handling of mail, copying jobs, arranging meetings as requested, maintaining office files, initiating authority for payment requests as needed.
Prepare charts and binders as required for Financial Reviews, Presidents' Council Meetings, Profitability Reviews, etc.
Handle travel arrangements (i.e. airline reservations, /hotel reservations/car hire) as well as complete necessary documentation to obtain Passports/Visas, for VP-Finance, as well as for any others in company when requested.
Prepare expense reports, preparations (and maintenance if necessary) of various office reports, as requested.
Log incoming checks, scan and distribute as needed.
Keep track of vacations for Finance and Credit departments.
Keep VP-Finance calendar updated.
Maintain various office books i.e. company policy/procedures, etc.
Assemble monthly POR in pdf format and distribute via email.
Each quarter, handle collection of certification letters & boycott letters from all entities and arrange mailing same to Emerson Corporate.
Assist other department personnel as requested, i.e. typing duties, faxing and copying jobs.
Keep log of Country Club memberships, which include end of year preparation of tax usage statement, by individual.

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of an intermittent remote work option. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

About our Location
Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, Ohio has been developing tools that help trades professionals tackle jobs faster, safer and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space.
