Senior Accountant (Administrative)
Statement of Work:
Lead cost accounting efforts, including tracking average costs, analyzing variances, and managing overhead.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate accounting for inventory, labor, and manufacturing costs.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end/year-end closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
Assist with implementing internal controls and improving accounting procedures.
Prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership in decision-making and cost-saving initiatives.
Support cash flow management alongside the Director of Finance.
File monthly, quarterly, and annual state sales tax returns.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the company's and department's ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and cost analysis.
Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
CPA or CMA preferred but not required.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000 annually based upon experience.
