HR Generalist (Administrative)



Hall's Culligan Water and PrairieFire Coffee Roasters have an immediate opening for an Human Resources generalist. Our family of companies employs over 1,200 people across 12 states in over 55 dealerships. The HR generalist will provide HR-related support and services to the HR Department as well as and employees and managers across the organization. 

The ideal candidate for the role should have exceptional organization, communication skills and attention to detail. This person should excel in creating positive and collaborative relationships with our employees and managers. To meet the needs of the business, the HR Generalist will have the ability to continuously re-prioritize work as business needs change.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and feedback.
  • Assist with the documentation and resolution of employee relations matters under the guidance of HR leadership.
  • Help facilitate performance discussions, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
  • Support initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Compliance & Records Management

  • Maintain and audit employee files in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and securely stored.
  • Track compliance-related training, licenses, and certifications.
  • Assist in preparing data and documentation for internal or external audits.

HR Administration

  • Maintain HRIS data and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Generate reports, track key HR metrics, and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and communications to employees.

Growth & Development

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience.
  • Stay current with HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Take on new challenges and responsibilities as the company grows and your role evolves.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of HR experience (generalist or related support role preferred).
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
