Test Engineer II - Defense Hardware Qualification (Finance)



As a Defense Hardware Qualification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful qualification and certification of defense hardware products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define qualification requirements, develop test plans, and execute testing activities. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and reliability of defense hardware systems. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development and certification of cutting-edge defense hardware systems, ensuring their compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define qualification requirements for defense hardware products

• Develop and execute test plans and procedures

• Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure product quality and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or non-conformances

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field

• 2+ years of experience in hardware qualification or testing

• Strong understanding of qualification standards and processes

• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate test results
