Product and E-Commerce Marketing Specialist Reports to: General Manager or designee Location: Three Oaks, MI Shepherd Hardware Products, a division of Colson Group, LLC., is headquartered in Three Oaks, Michigan. Shepherd Hardware offers a full line of general duty and industrial casters, replacement wheels and an unsurpassed range of floor and surface protection products including but not limited to felt, sliders, anti-skid products, rubber cups and bumpers. The core product lines can be found at most hardware retailers in North America and are marketed under the Shepherd Hardware brand as well as various customer-specific brands.
Job Summary: A Product and E-Commerce Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the online sales on large retail platforms, researching trends in customer purchases and evaluating changes in the online retail market through data analysis. This role will assist decision-makers in the development of e-commerce products and online business strategies, and, manage a defined range of products across various identified ecommerce platforms. Provides excellent customer service and innovative marketing ideas. Primary Responsibilities: • Determine company's e-commerce goals and KPI's • Manage numerous SKU's across multiple marketplaces • Upload new product with clear product description • Identify key areas for improvement • Transform data into operational insights • Research competitors, alternative markets and opportunities in the e-commerce space • Develop solutions in conjunction with marketing and sales • Report and act upon changes and market trends • Establish goals and that support the company objectives • Manage freight to assure the lowest cost and highest service rates • Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience: • 3 years-experience in digital economies and e-commerce • Proven record of driving website traffic, increasing sales on large retail platforms and improving customer retention. • Retail marketing and customer service • Inventory management Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing Data Analytics or related field • High school diploma or equivalent required
