Sr. Advanced Embedded Engineer (Finance)



As a Sr. Advanced Embedded Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge embedded software solutions that drive innovation and enhance the efficiency of our products. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Northford, CT location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of high-quality embedded software solutions that are critical to the success of our business, ensuring they meet established timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and test advanced embedded software solutions for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Implement best practices in software development and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.As a Sr. Advanced Embedded Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead the design and architecture of complex embedded software solutions, influence technical decisions, and drive innovation in embedded systems technology. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Northford, CT location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in design and development of embedded software solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as C and C++ with a strong understanding of hardware and software integration.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded development tools.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with fire alarm systems or fire panel development.
  • Experience in leading complex embedded software projects.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in embedded systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
