Base Salary -$153K + 10% Targeted Bonus.

Position Summary

The LATAM Senior Tax Manager will lead regional tax planning and compliance efforts across Ingram Micro's LATAM operations, with a particular focus on WHT strategy and risk mitigation. This role will coordinate closely with Ingram Micro's subsidiaries throughout the region and serve as a key advisor on cross-border tax structuring, operational tax planning, and tax audit readiness. This position is uniquely positioned to work alongside the broader LATAM export team, LATAM country commercial and finance leaders, and global tax stakeholders to embed tax strategy into business execution and drive measurable financial impact.

Based out of Ingram's LATAM Export operational headquarters in Miami, Florida, the LATAM Senior Tax Manager will report solid line to the LATAM Tax Director (Corporate Tax) and dotted line to the LATAM Regional Chief Financial Executive (CFE), ensuring alignment with global tax policy and regional business and commercial execution.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the LATAM Tax Director, LATAM Regional CFE and extended LATAM Finance leaders in driving tax planning initiatives across the LATAM region and enhanced alignment between tax and commercial goals.

• Lead WHT oversight across LATAM by monitoring country-level WHT exposures, ensuring WHT is planned and reported correctly in our US GAAP financial statements.

• Partner closely with the LATAM Tax Director and LATAM Regional CFE and collaborate with LATAM export commercial teams to embed WHT tax considerations into deal execution and pricing strategies and deliver measurable value through reduced WHT leakage, margin-enhancing structuring, and improved tax governance.

• Liaise with IT, business operations, strategy, FP&A and accounting to ensure such IT systems and supporting business processes are set up properly to manage WHT obligations, controls and reporting.

• Support the LATAM Tax Director and other members of the corporate tax team on tax compliance initiatives across the LATAM region (e.g., regional compliance, tax filings, and audit readiness) in coordination with local entities and external advisors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support acquisitions, divestitures and other business transactions, including cash repatriation and expansion into new jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the tax aspects of US GAAP financial statements

• Significant experience with US and LATAM WHT issues

• Fluency in Spanish and English

• Ability to work with business teams as a partner to support initiatives while ensuring tax compliance.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Display an aptitude for quickly understanding and explaining complex and dynamic transactions

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects on a cross-functional basis and the capacity to plan, execute and deliver on projects

• Strong communication (written and oral), research and analytical skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with CPA and/or Masters Degree in Taxation preferred

• 8+ years tax experience in Big 4 accounting firm and/or equivalent experience in tax department of a large multi-national corporation

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,600.00 - $203,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
