Production Supervisor-Nights (Food Services)
Understands the plant quality, productivity, and profitability goals and his/her unique role in attaining them.
Implements the Production Plan. Communicates to all employees what must be done to achieve daily requirements. Adjusts during the shift to meet changing conditions, assigning or reassigning people as appropriate.
Ensures that all machinery is functioning properly and that all materials are available to meet production requirements.
Is mentor and coach to his/her employees. Provides them counsel and training, and assistance with problems which may affect quality or productivity. Develops an improvement program for each employee.
Work in collaboration with HR
Responsible for orderliness. This includes housekeeping, safety conditions, and other quality/productivity records, and proper inventory balances.
Assists in the hiring process for production associates and administers Brazeway's policies.
Provides leadership to entire plant in absence of department supervisors.
Actively supports and manages to our 5S + Safety programs.
Actively supports and manages within Brazeway's mission, vision, Code of Conduct and Process-Based Leadership guidelines.
What a candidate must have to be qualified for the role:
Associated Degree required
Preferred 5+ years of shop floor experience in an applicable manufacturing environment such as: automotive, extrusion, metal, continuous process and/or 24/7 hour facility
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong commitment to a team environment
Ability to work any shift
Demonstrated discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established standards, policies, and procedure
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
