Process Operator (Manufacturing)
Arcosa Specialty Materials is searching for a Process Operator for our Mooreland, OK plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Process Operator, you will work around continuous batch operations while monitoring multiple systems within the production process through computer automation.
Arcosa Specialty Materials is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural, aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.
What You'll Do:
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Efficiently and safely use all process equipment.
• Notice deviations from a standard process flow and engage team to take corrective measures and adjustments as needed from management to make the finest quality gypsum materials all while adhering to company polices and safety guidelines.
• Work under the guidance of leadership to perform various assigned duties in a timely manner with their team.
• Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.
• Conduct regular walkarounds in their area while producing materials to strict quality standards.
• Operate an overhead crane to move materials in the process areas.
• Perform quality checks, water tests, test semi-finished materials to company specifications
• Maintain multiple mobile asset such as loaders, forklifts, and man lifts
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
• Preform basic weekly preventative maintenance on various process equipment.
• Notify supervisors of issues that could disrupt a process as soon as possible.
• Continually monitor process equipment and testing to ensure continuous production and quality materials.
• Follow all policies and procedures and wear the proper protective safety equipment.
• Sweep, shovel, scrape, pickup and maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Follow all safety culture guidelines and participate in the continuous improvement of safety within the company's growth.

• Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals and labels.
• Ability to fill out all paperwork associated with job.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Forklift, Manlift, & Loader experience not required, but preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
