Clinical Outcomes Specialist - Cerebral Palsy & Neuromotor (Full Time, Day shift) (Healthcare)
Job Summary
The Clinical Outcomes Specialist supports and promotes the Cerebral Palsy & Neuromotor program initiatives across all of its clinics and interdisciplinary services, including clinical effectiveness, quality, regulatory compliance, clinical outcomes processes, peer review, clinical benchmarking, Information Technology integration of outcome measures, and research activities. Responsible for performing rehabilitation clinical measures, administering patient-reported outcome questionnaires, and tracking patient-specific functional outcomes to assess program and patient metrics. The role involves participating in health outcomes research design, data collection, and data analysis with support from the research department. Collaborates with research and clinical teams on original research, supports various research projects and quality improvement initiatives, prepares reports and publications, and presents at local and national meetings. Integrates clinical data with the Quality, Finance, Information Technology, and BI departments and evaluates patient care infrastructure to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Evaluates and treats patients within the scope of physical therapy as needed for program goals. Lastly, works on special projects as assigned in support of program goals.
