Your Role: Senior Finance Associate

As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be a key contributor to the Elanco Corporate Accounting and Reporting (ECAR) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for advancing global consolidation, internal financial reporting, and top-level accounting. You will also support process improvements and special projects across corporate functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage aspects of the month-end close and global consolidation process

  • Own and track top-level journal entries and support internal consolidated financial statements

  • Prepare monthly SOX deliverables and quarterly/year-end reporting schedules

  • Collaborate with affiliates and corporate functions to resolve accounting issues and ensure policy compliance

  • Contribute to process improvement efforts to streamline global accounting and reporting activities
     

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Finance/Accounting function or public accounting with US GAAP knowledge

  • Top 2 skills: Consolidation and ledger accuracy, cross-functional collaboration
     

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • CPA or Chartered Accountant designation

  • Experience with SAP GA module and Business Objects

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with proven analytical abilities

  • High learning agility and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
