Your Role: Senior Finance Associate
As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be a key contributor to the Elanco Corporate Accounting and Reporting (ECAR) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for advancing global consolidation, internal financial reporting, and top-level accounting. You will also support process improvements and special projects across corporate functions.
Your Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage aspects of the month-end close and global consolidation process
Own and track top-level journal entries and support internal consolidated financial statements
Prepare monthly SOX deliverables and quarterly/year-end reporting schedules
Collaborate with affiliates and corporate functions to resolve accounting issues and ensure policy compliance
Contribute to process improvement efforts to streamline global accounting and reporting activities
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Finance/Accounting function or public accounting with US GAAP knowledge
Top 2 skills: Consolidation and ledger accuracy, cross-functional collaboration
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
Experience with SAP GA module and Business Objects
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with proven analytical abilities
High learning agility and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
