Finance Clerk (Administrative)
Essential Functions
Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds and preparing and mailing invoices. Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments. Updating and maintaining the database, financial records and filing systems. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transaction and maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions. Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls. Generate and review various reports related to unresolved accounts receivable then determine the necessary steps to clear any open balances. Resolves discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments. Communicates any issues or concerns to president that may lead to inaccurate or untimely completion of processing. Prepares timecard reporting for payroll processing. Review payroll registers for accuracy and submit for approval and processing. Assisting with administrative tasks such as filling out forms, filing, and answering phone calls and emails. Performing all other duties as assigned.
