Global Program Director (Finance)



For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $203,000 - $304,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do?

The Global Solutions Program (GSP) reports to the VP/GM of U.S. Digital Buildings National Strategic Account (NSA) Organization. The GSP is an innovative, "tip of the spear" program, comprised of multiple business units that develop cross business solutions in data center; critical telecommunications-environmental infrastructure; life sciences; and semi-conductor manufacturing. The Program specializes in critical HVAC and electrical integration using; industrial Programmable Logic Controllers; the AVEVA software suite of products; and many other forms of software and system integration. Depending on customer needs, we can deploy a Design System Integrator, Construction System Integrator model (DSI-CSI) to leverage standardized designs with the localization needed to deploy anywhere. Additionally, the Program is responsible for the Profit and Loss across all business flows; business set-up; business delivery; performance measurement and management; talent management and workforce planning; training and development; risk management; process compliance; and continuous improvement for the established and emerging business scopes.

  • Commercial and overall Business Alignment - Continually work with our Commercial and Industry Line of Business (LoB) to evolve the offer to meet the rapidly changing market landscape; Equip our various sales teams with the necessary sales collateral, and pre-construction - sales support necessary to continually create blue ocean opportunities in these verticals; Support Commercial teams in proposal negotiations related to scope, schedule, cost, and commercial terms; Support the commercial team in client relationship management to aide in business expansion and issue resolution; Support proposal development for existing and emerging workstreams such as post construction Managed Services.
  • Operational Alignment -Develop project execution plans to support efficient, high-quality delivery to a demanding suite of customers who move fast and continually innovate; Continually monitor backlog and pipeline to produce effective Programmatic resource plans shared across businesses; Establish a common project delivery framework that balances the uniqueness of each of the participating businesses.
  • Program Execution and Performance Management - Monitor and control business delivery to meet or exceed financial commitments. Track and execute projects per the agreed to schedules. Establish best practices to avoid margin slippage and cost exposures. Establish a Quality Management system to ensure high customer satisfaction. Maintain a risk management practice to provide early identification and mitigation.
  • One Program Mind Set - Assemble and integrate a global team leveraging the multi-business competencies to deliver a one SE experience. Drive alignment of operational processes across LoB's and competencies to insure efficient execution. Establish and implement program level operational practices that adhere to SE, Country, and LoB governance policies.
  • Key Stakeholder and Relationship Management & Communication - Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders. Lead development, alignment, and reporting of Program and Project level KPI's.
  • Talent management - Establish and continually develop the unique skills needed to continually refresh the talent pipeline to support innovation and growth.

Qualifications Include:

  • Four (4) year university technical or business degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Strong sales, technical and leadership skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of global contracting procedures and tactics
  • Clear understanding of Revenue, Cost, Gross Margin and Cash Management
  • Travel Expectations ~ 50%
  • International experiences would be a plus
  • An MBA would be a plus
