Payroll Coordinator (Finance)
Process bi-weekly payroll. Audit timesheets for codes/charges to ensure they are being billed to correct contract/location and audit for overtime compliance. Collect required documentation for leave.
Set up new hire employee's timesheets in Deltek Time and Expense and manage employee timesheet training manual process.
Verify new hire set up information in Costpoint from HR feed. Enter allowance pay codes, union dues, and pension codes.
Pay monthly union dues for all union contracts and maintain remittance spreadsheet withholding information.
Package Payroll Accounts Payable documents for authorization and scan documents to OnBase.
Process and pay garnishments, court orders and levies. Set up orders in payroll system, submit correspondence to employees and agencies.
Provide employment verification data.
Re-set employees' password in Deltek Time and Expense.
Provide information for customer support inquiries.
Enter employee address changes in Costpoint and OnBase.
Provide employees copies of W-2's upon request. Track all returned W-2's and obtain new addresses.
Schedule education/ training meetings and record training in ISO.
Assist with Deltek Time and Expense timesheet training, interim timesheets, final checks, and semi-monthly payroll as required.
Perform all other duties as directed by the Manager.
Required educational/skills background:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Two (2+) years of experience with in-house payroll processing.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
Preferred experiential background:
Experience working in a government contracting environment.
Deltek Costpoint and Time and Expense experience.
International payroll experience.
