Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Student Activities is responsible for club registration and training, as well as the planning and execution of both the fall and spring Student Activities Fairs. These responsibilities also include reviewing and updating policies related to the annual club registration process. This individual will help organize club development programming, oversee the Lunch & Lead program, and assist with general club support and outreach. This position advises student leaders and programs to ensure they maintain high standards related to student life and community development that support the educational mission of the institution.

An ideal candidate has experience managing or working with student organizations, club registration, and/or facilitating programs.
Workplace Requirements:
This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration (one virtual day per week during the academic year, and two virtual days during the summer). Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: $52,000 to $55,500 annually, contingent upon qualifications and experience
*Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.
